Your connection to the Advertising Industry - more than just another course! This innovative course is run by IAPI (Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland), which represents advertising agencies in Ireland, and its educational partner DIT (Dublin Institute of Technology). The programme is designed to meet industry’s needs in the area of integrated communications.

This programme is designed for beginners & experts.

The IAPI/DIT Advertising & Digital Communications Postgraduate Programme was specifically created in response to the advertising industry’s need for skilled advertising professionals with the necessary knowledge to succeed in the ever-evolving marketplace. IAPI and DIT built on the foundations of their previous Diploma course to create a new integrated digital programme fit for the requirements of the advertising industry. Therefore rather than cynically adding a digital module we wove digital throughout each module, and encourage creative thinking amongst students.

This programme is designed for your career

The programme mirrors a real work environment - real briefs, real clients, all taught by a mixture of industry leaders and DIT academics. A mixture of continuous assessments and examinations assesses the programme. The IAPI/DIT Advertising & Digital Communications Postgraduate Programme connects you with the Irish advertising industry - for example the IAPI One to Watch is an industry award given to a graduate of the programme, and the postgraduate network, which allows you to continue to connect and learn from fellow graduates.

2010 was the inaugural year for this programme – graduates have had a busy time, some have changed jobs, some have had complete changes to their career, and some have been promoted. A staggering 93% of the Class of 2010 is now in full time employment in advertising, and the success of the course and its graduates continues to grow.
